I put this thread catcher together the other day using this tutorial.
I read through it a couple of times in the afternoon and after I put the girls to bed, I went to the sewing room and went from memory. My straps are a little narrow so I just stitched them to the bag rather than using the velcro. I filled the pincushion with crushed walnut shells I had bought at the local quilt shop.

what a pretty thread catcher ;) I like the pinwheel block on top. Quiltnanny made and gifted me with one a couple years back as a hostess gift and I love mine - even took it with me to the Bonnie Hunter workshop so I'd have it nearby.
YES you SHOULD make YOURSELF one too! ;) I actually think every quiltroom needs at least 2... one by the machine and one by the cutting area to brush off all the little clippings that you get when squaring up blocks. ;)
