LQS BOM

It's that time of the month again, class at the local quilt shop. I'm a little behind in posting these. Last month, I hadn't started my block until the morning of class. You have to take your finished block to class to get the next months kit free. I got it done and here is the block we made for our February class. It is a variation of Tea Party.
Here we are in March and class is tomorrow night and I put my block together this morning. This is our sixth block and it is a variation of Uncle Sam's Hourglass.

Maybe this month I can get to my block a little sooner. There is no room for error if I wait til the last minute. That doens't give me any time to go to the LQS and get a replacement piece of fabric if I get the cut wrong. :)

ok, I have to confess.. I'm so jealous! each and every time you post another one of these LQS BOMs I so wish I was your neighbor and could attend your meetings with you and be making one of these gorgeous quilts TOO!!!

I love everything about it! the colors - oh the colors.. the blocks and especially the overall layout of what you're working towards.

I certainly hope that once all of my kids are in school that I can participate in a monthly BOM like this at my LQS ;)

until then - I'll just continue to watch and be jealous of LUCKY you! ;)

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
