Pillowcases and Kids

I have had some extra kids the last 5 days, a niece and 2 nephews. I had mentioned that maybe we could make a pillowcase while they were here. Monday morning came and I was reminded of this mentioning. So a little later we loaded up the truck and headed to the fabric store. I was interested to see what type of prints they would all pick. Me and 6 kids...the lady checking us out told me I was a brave woman. :c)

Here are their choices.
We got home and trimmed everything up. I walked everyone through pinning the edges together and rolling up the body. We got everything pinned and our first seam sewn. After the cases were pulled through the tube, I lost a couple of kids to their DSIs and things. But we made it through and got them all done.

Here is a closer look at the boys' pillowcases.
Here are the girls' choices.
Lastly, here are all the kids holding their pillows.
Kelton (11), Cameron (10), Becca (7)
Anna (5), Kaitlyn (almost 2), Maili (6)

Maybe when I have some extra time and don't have kids running circles around me and asking for this and for that, I will go through my stash and get some pillowcases made up for the 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge.

Great pics! I love the pillow cases. Those are near the top of my list to make. I have some very deserving and cute kids in mind to make them for.
