The package from Quilts for Kids arrived on Monday!
I was so excited to see what the theme was they sent me that I ripped right into it. With a house full of girls, I don't get to play with "boy" fabrics too often. Look how fun this is.
Race car blocks, orange and red for the 4-patch blocks, stripes for the inner border, and flags for the outer border...and look at that background.
With everything we are tying up before we head out of town, or the country I should say, I figured I wouldn't even touch this until we got home. Well, I took some time while some laundry was going and made the 4-patch blocks. I still had a little bit of time to go and look what I got done.
This went together pretty quickly. I was surprised I got this all pieced before I had to leave it and get back to packing, cleaning, cooking, etc... The rest will have to wait for next week.

Isn't' it amazing at how fast they do work up? 15 large 4-patches is easy peasy!

wow you go girl!! i sent for one too and that is the same pack i got.. however mine is still sitting on the shelf waiting to be touched! where do you find the time and energy girl.. i've only got two kiddos...
